This bar highlights the specific characteristics of the Arauquita cacao variety, which is cultivated in the Arauca region of Colombia. As a small-scale operation, the maker emphasizes a focused approach to processing single-origin beans.
The production process prioritizes the integrity of the raw material. After harvest, the beans undergo controlled fermentation in wooden boxes followed by traditional sun drying. During the manufacturing phase, the cacao is processed in a melanger to achieve its final texture. The formulation remains strictly minimalist, as the bar is non-alkalized and intentionally excludes lecithin, vanillin, and vegetable fats.

Arcadia 100% has received several accolades, including a Silver award at the 2020-21 International Chocolate Awards for the Americas, a Bronze at the 2021-22 International Chocolate Awards, and a Bronze honor from the Academy of Chocolate in 2021.
