The foundation of this 72% dark bar is the Trinitario cacao grown in the Kilombero Valley. A notable aspect of its production is the post-harvest protocol managed by Kokoa Kamili, where the beans are fermented and dried while accompanied by Tanzanian Zilipendwa music. Once at the workshop, the beans are refined in a melanger to achieve their final texture, balanced by a small addition of cane sugar from Paraguay and a touch of sunflower lecithin.
The attention to detail in the processing of these beans has been recognized internationally, including a Silver award at the 2018 Academy of Chocolate. The bar is presented in an 80-gram format.
