Tanzanie

The Tanzanie bar is a creation of the French maker Chapon. Based in France, Chapon operates as a bean-to-bar producer, maintaining oversight of the manufacturing process from raw cacao to the finished product.

This 74% dark chocolate utilizes cocoa beans sourced from the Kilombero region of Tanzania. The beans undergo professional post-harvest fermentation, drying, and sorting by Kokoa Kamili before arriving at the atelier. The resulting profile is characterized by a soft and round body, accompanied by mild acidity and detectable notes of cocoa and dried fruit. The recipe is kept simple, consisting only of cocoa beans, sugar, and cocoa butter.

The bar contains 566 kcal per 100g, with 24g of sugar and 43g of fat. Due to the environment in which the chocolate is processed, it may contain traces of milk, soy, tree nuts, gluten, eggs, sulphites, and sesame.
