The Guasare bar is crafted by SOMA, an artisan bean-to-bar maker. The foundation of this bar is exceptional cacao sourced from the Rosario de Perijá region in Zulia, Venezuela. The beans are specifically selected from four distinct estates: Finca la Florida, Finca San Antonio, Finca Los Claritos, and Finca San Pedro.

The chocolate maintains a 70% cacao content, composed of cocoa nibs, cocoa butter, and organic cane sugar. During production, the ingredients are refined using a melanger to achieve the desired texture. This careful process coaxes out a multifaceted flavor profile, characterized by distinct notes of cream, malt, and roasted cacao, further complemented by hints of coffee, tamarind, and dried figs.

Recognition of the bar's quality is reflected in its performance at the 2018 International Chocolate Awards. It achieved significant acclaim, securing both World Gold and the title of World Best in Competition, validating the high standards applied to its production.
