Green Bean to Bar Chocolate is an artisan producer based in Japan. Operating as a dedicated bean-to-bar maker, the team handles every step of the chocolate manufacturing process by hand, from raw bean to finished bar. This meticulous, manual approach allows the maker to highlight the specific character of their chosen origins.

The Esmeraldas 70% bar is composed of only two ingredients, consisting of cacao beans and organic sugar. This simplicity focuses the palate on the Ecuadorian terroir of the Esmeraldas region. The resulting profile presents a balance of melon, fermented dairy, spice, and herbal undertones. Its consistent quality has been recognized with Bronze awards at the International Chocolate Awards Asia-Pacific in both 2023 and 2024.

The bar is produced at a weight of 55 grams, keeping the focus on small, intentional batches. By strictly controlling the production from the initial roasting stages through to tempering and molding, the maker maintains a clear link between the Ecuadorian farms and the final consumer experience.
