Based in India, the producer operates as a bean-to-bar facility where the process begins with raw materials sourced directly from the Kerala region. By maintaining control from the harvest to the final bar, the maker highlights the specific characteristics of South Indian cacao.

The 63% cacao content creates a balance between the natural intensity of the cocoa and a measured sweetness. During production, the ingredients are processed in a melanger to achieve a consistent texture. The inclusion of 1.3% sea salt adds a seasoning effect that cuts through the cocoa butter and sugar, providing a saline contrast to the foundational notes of the beans.
