The cacao beans are of the Trinitario variety and undergo 144 hours of box fermentation in 3-tier wooden boxes before sun drying on raised beds. The resulting 70% dark chocolate is refined in a melanger. It presents flavour notes of wild berries, creamy honey, and complex citrus. The bar has earned recognition including an Academy of Chocolate Gold in 2023, Bronze in 2022, and Silver in 2019.
The ingredients consist of cacao beans and organic cane sugar. The bar is dairy free, gluten free, and soy free, and it contains no lecithin, vanilla, vanillin, PGPR, vegetable fats, or added cocoa butter.
