About The Buzzz..ed Bar 60% - Maka di beer infusion
The Buzzz..ed Bar 60% is made by BAR (Baker's Artisanal Recipes). The cacao comes from Sadhu Farm in the Mangalore region of India, where the beans are fermented for six days and turned four times before drying.
The maker says the Maka di honey ale went onto the beans after they had dried, for two days, rather than into the ferment. The beans are solar dried, moving into a greenhouse when the weather turns. Cacao nibs add texture, though the pack folds them into "Cacao" rather than listing them separately, and sugar and emulsifier INS-322 close out a short ingredient list.
The result is an 80-gram bar with fruity, berry and fresh fruit notes.
