The Salted Almond 53% bar is a milk chocolate variety that showcases local Indian terroir. The cocoa beans originate from the Idukki region of Kerala, where they are fermented and dried naturally at a dedicated unit in Thodupuzha. During production, the ingredients are refined using a melanger, a process that ensures a smooth texture while preserving the nuance of the beans. The addition of salted almond complements the profile of the milk chocolate base.

Sourcing practices at Rakkaudella are defined by a direct-trade model. By working closely with growers, the brand maintains oversight of the supply chain from the harvest in Kerala through to the final packaging, ensuring transparency in how the raw materials are acquired.
