The cacao undergoes a traditional fermentation and sun-drying process managed by the local community in the village square of Chuao. At the Parisian workshop, Plaq uses a melanger to refine the beans and cane sugar into a finished bar, yielding a clean composition that highlights the inherent characteristics of the Venezuelan cacao.
