The beans undergo a rigorous post-harvest process, including fermentation for 5.5-6.5 days at a central facility located in the village of Bumate. This careful handling results in a final bar characterized by distinct tasting notes of chocolate ganache, fig leather, and red bean paste.

The composition of the bar is straightforward, relying on three organic ingredients: cocoa beans, sugar, and cocoa butter. This minimalist approach allows the specific qualities of the Ugandan cacao to remain at the forefront of the tasting experience.
