Moringa Lemon White

The Moringa Lemon White bar is crafted by Chitra'm, a bean-to-bar maker located in Coimbatore, India. Operating as a small-batch producer, the workshop focuses on direct control over the transformation of cacao, utilizing a melanger for the refining process to ensure a consistent texture.

This white chocolate composition departs from traditional flavor profiles by incorporating plant-based inclusions. The bar features a base of cacao butter, brown sugar, and milk powder, which is finished with the addition of moringa powder and lemon powder. The resulting bar maintains a sugar content of 45.3g per 100g, balancing the sweetness of the white chocolate with the vegetal notes of moringa and the sharp acidity of lemon.

The 48-gram bar has gained recognition within the professional chocolate community, earning a Bronze medal in the white chocolate bars with an infusion or flavouring category at the 2019 International Chocolate Awards for the Asia-Pacific region.
