The Semuliki Forest bar is a masterclass in simplicity, crafted from just two ingredients: cacao beans and organic cane sugar. At 70% cacao, it offers a sophisticated sensory experience that highlights the distinct influence of the Ugandan landscape. The foundation of this bar lies in the meticulous care taken at the source. The cacao beans are harvested from the Semuliki Forest region in Uganda. To ensure the highest quality, the beans undergo a precise, centralized fermentation process overseen by Latitude Trade Co. before being dried in the sun, preserving the integrity and vibrant flavor precursors essential for such a refined chocolate experience.
